Boutique Homes have been awarded the President's Award for Corporate Sponsor of the Year by OzChild, honouring the commitment to build a new home to house children in need.
OzChild held the annual Gala Ball to raise funds towards furnishing the new Boutique Riviera 32 home currently under construction at Tulliallan estate in Cranbourne North.
Generous supporters donated funds and bid at auction for prizes with tens of thousands of dollars raised to help furnish the home and provide every-day living items and food.
Helen Maxwell- Wright, OzChild President, recently paid a visit to the Riviera 32 and was amazed at the amount of space and quality build delivered. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, she reiterated how perfect the Riviera 32 will be for vulnerable children in need.
An avid cook, Helen also marvelled at the amount of space included in the kitchen (especially the huge walk-in pantry!) and confirmed what a great open plan area the Riviera 32 provides.
With paintwork complete and flooring due for install, the Riviera 32 is fast approaching completion.
This will be the first home of its kind designed and built by Boutique Homes for OzChild, which is the largest provider of foster care in the South Metropolitan region, supporting over 6,000 children, young people and families every year with services that extend to disability respite, education and therapeutic support.
As part of OzChild’s Let’s Stay Together program, the house will become home for siblings who might otherwise be separated and their carer.
