Brickies have been busy onsite, with bricklaying nearly complete and internal plaster work commencing. With completion expected in September 2017, the team are well on track to deliver a quality new home to our friends at OzChild.
Located on a 544 square metre block within the scenic Tulliallan estate in Cranbourne North, the five bedroom, three bathroom home will provide accommodation and care for some of the region’s most vulnerable children. A specially modified version of the ‘Riviera’, one of Boutique’s largest and most popular single storey floorplans, the house will feature open plan living, dining and kitchen, a separate home theatre and extended outdoor living space.
“OzChild is thrilled to be partnering with Boutique Homes in this project which will enable us to support a sibling group who would otherwise have to be split up,” says Lisa Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of OzChild.
This will be the first home of its kind designed and built by Boutique Homes for OzChild, which is the largest provider of foster care in the South Metropolitan region, supporting over 6,000 children, young people and families every year with services that extend to disability respite, education and therapeutic support.
As part of OzChild’s Let’s Stay Together program, the house will become home for siblings who might otherwise be separated and their carer.
