Inside, the home feels intimate, despite having a generous floorplan, with the design featuring all the modern luxury finishes and fixtures of a boutique hotel from dark joinery to the ensuite bathroom tiles, tapware, and wall sconces.

In the chef’s kitchen, dark cabinetry, and stone finishes with a lowered ceiling, creates an intimate dining experience.

“We’ve worked closely with our lighting designer on this home to create mood and atmosphere,” says Kat Moore, Boutique Homes Project Designer. “It adds to the luxe feel of the interiors.”

The home’s interiors are monochromatic but layered and nuanced, with hints of deep brown to furniture and walls, and bedroom wallpaper in geometric patterns adding textures and pops of colour.

Elsewhere in the home, classic nostalgic brown fabrics contrast with futuristic chrome furniture accents in the retreat with a statement Sarah Ellison Chromeo chair and footstool. These recurrent trends play out through the home, creating a cosy but chic boutique hotel ambience.

The home boasts many notable features such as the standout joinery in dark timber (Polytec Black Ply Woodmatt) with full-height cabinetry leading into the walk-in robe and ensuite in the master bedroom. Other design features include small nooks, bench seating and practical storage.
