While owning your own home is the Australian dream, you also want to be able to afford to leave it. At least, that’s why first home buyers Gabriel and Naomi found the perfect fit with Elements by Boutique Homes.

After years renting, the married pair decided they’d rather be paying off their own home rather than someone else’s. Offering a range of expertly curated colour schemes, floorplans and facades and a streamlined process, Elements by Boutique Homes allowed the couple to create the home of their dreams at a price they could afford.

‘With Elements, we were able to get the premium Boutique Homes’ quality but within our price range.’

‘The financial flexibility helped us to furnish our home post-handover, but also to live our lives. We were still able to go out to the nice restaurants in the area, travel, and do all those things we wanted to do,’ says Gabriel.

The pair found their dream home in the four-bedroom Liberty 23 home design, coupled with the Hamptons-inspired Cape facade. Gabriel and Naomi chose to personalise their floorplan to a three-bedroom design which provided more space for their laundry and for a butler’s pantry in the kitchen.

‘The kitchen is our favourite part of the home. Being able to have the open living area to interact with the guests, and then a separate pantry area where I can clean up after entertaining with friends and family is fantastic,’ says Gabriel.

‘We also love that the main living areas are separated from the front of the home for privacy, and that the bedrooms are at the back of the home away from any street noise.

What to expect from the build process

Naomi and Gabriel first heard about Boutique Homes from friends. When visiting display homes, the quality and professionalism of the Boutique Homes’ product was second to none. After meeting their New Homes Consultant and discovering the affordability of the Elements package, they realised they had found the perfect builder.

They’ve never looked back.

‘The build process was amazing. We were able to come down and see the slab when it was poured, and every single step we were able to walk through the house with our Site Supervisor. We loved watching what we imagined come to life before our eyes,’ says Naomi.

‘The best part of the process was getting our keys and walking into a house that was ours for the first time – it was a really good feeling.’

Building meant Gabriel and Naomi not only got a brand new home, but the lifestyle to match.

‘We chose a house and land package in Armstrong Creek, Geelong, because it’s such a great community. There are so many local parks nearby; the shopping centre is only six minutes away, and it’s continually expanding,’ says Naomi.

‘Geelong has been a fantastic lifestyle change. It’s a nice area right near the beach to raise a family, and we have friends and family down here.’

Creating our Hamptons-inspired interior design

Just a short drive from the beaches of Torquay, Gabriel and Naomi dreamed of creating a coastal retreat to match. With six expertly crafted colour schemes to choose from, the pair opted for a coastal colour scheme for the Cape façade and the organic colour scheme for the interior allowing them to create a modern-neutral style. They then included the upgrades most important to them. For Naomi and Gabriel, this included lighter floorboards, a larger kitchen bench and walk-in pantry for the kitchen, and an elevated façade.

The result is a bright, fresh and relaxed interior design, filled with splashes of blue and subtle modern elements.

‘It was great being able to choose off a pre-selected colour board. It took the stress out of having to pick every single detail of our new home,’ says Naomi.

‘The colour scheme was neutral, and it had everything in it that we wanted. It wasn’t a timely process to pick everything – it was all done for you, which meant we could get into our home faster.’
