‘I used a very monochromatic colour palette, brightened by white panelled cabinetry and pops of peach and auburn colours in the styling. It’s a home that’s easy to keep clean and won’t date,’ adds Mitra. ‘The vibrant interiors work well with the high ceilings and near floor-to-ceiling windows to keep the home feeling bright and airy.’
While young children are front of mind when it comes to the functionality of the home, by no means are the adults forgotten. A spacious master bedroom complete with a double walk-in-robe, dressing nook and double ensuite offers parents their own hotel-style oasis.
‘I love the feature picture window that bathes the entire room in light,’ says Mitra.
‘But one of my favourite areas is the bathroom. The grey floor-to-ceiling tiles are luxurious and high-end while the full-height mosaic feature wall helps to break up the predominantly masculine colour palette and soften the space.’
