Contemporary, coastal and modern: the double-storey Bayview façade creates a beach house look with the addition of raked ceilings to the balcony.

When it came time to design the picturesque Bayview façade, Senior Designer, Rob Nguyen, was inspired by the traditional elements of a Hamptons aesthetic such as the cladding and feature trusses.

‘The Hamptons façade has more of a traditional coastal look with its weatherboard cladding and window mouldings. The Bayview façade is more contemporary coastal, using a wide panel flat board cladding and glass balustrade,’ explains Rob.

‘The open balcony of the Bayview with its raked ceiling really opens up the space and the façade. And the feature exposed truss at the front gives it that coastal, beach house look.’

Commonly seen in areas with ocean views, customers building in coastal areas, near lakes, on hills or anywhere with views might consider the Bayview façade.

Rob adds: ‘Or even on a street without a view, it’s still a nice and contemporary façade for anyone that likes this style.’

The façade features rendered brickwork, wide panel flat board cladding, painted posts and beams, a glass balustrade and a metal roof.

With the mixed materials and no window mouldings, the Bayview façade is estate-friendly for those who are building with strict developer guidelines.

Available on all double-storey homes excluding the M10 range.
