Great design is more than just beautiful — it’s intentional and it’s personal.

That’s why we’re proud to take part in the conversation during Melbourne Design Week, where this year’s theme, Design the World You Want, aligns deeply with our mission: crafting homes not just for how you want to live today, but for the life you’re growing into.

As the city celebrates Melbourne Design Week, we’re proud to showcase how our homes echo the values of the design world: refined liveability and timeless appeal. Discover some of the key trends that we identified this year that effortlessly carry through our home details.

1. Create a reflection of you

Melbourne Design Week challenges us all to think about the role design plays in shaping the future. For us, this future is grounded in how people want to live — more connected to nature, more mindful of space, and more focused on quality.

Our homes, like the Barcelona, showcase mid-century modern design interpreted for contemporary lifestyles. Clean lines, warm timber textures, and expansive living zones that flow naturally into the outdoors — these are not trends, but timeless principles that reflect how people want to live today.

In designs like the Toorak, luxury and lifestyle go hand in hand. Natural light floods generous living areas, materials are chosen not only for their aesthetic but their sustainability, and every space is tailored for function as much as form.

2. Natural Design that Moves With You

Modern Australian living calls for more than square edges and standard palettes. You’ll see fluid forms, organic shapes, and natural textures flowing in our living spaces seamlessly into outdoor areas, in arched hallway details, and in joinery that softens spaces with sculptural grace. These gentle curves and uninterrupted lines create an experience of calm — a reflection of how we see design evolving now and beyond.

At the same time, it’s time to embrace contrast — thoughtfully pairing raw Australian materials like timbers and stone with contemporary finishes such as chrome, metallic accents, and polished steel.

The result?  Homes will feel grounded in nature, yet distinctly modern — where soft draping and warm lighting offset stronger industrial elements to create balance and character.

3. Playing with Colour, Texture and Light

Design today is not about playing it safe — and neither are we. We’re leaning into playful colour palettes and bold-toned soft furnishings that bring personality and warmth to every room.

Whether it’s a deep burgundy accent in a living space, a sculptural burnt-orange occasional chair, or the lush layering of textures through drapes and upholstery — these are the details that transform interiors from styled to truly lived-in.

4. Embracing Raw & Local Materials

One of the most exciting directions coming out of Melbourne Design Week is a return to authentic, local materials — and it’s something we’re proud to lead in our homes.

We’re showcasing Australian raw materials in new ways: reclaimed timbers, rough-cut stone, native hardwoods, and earthy clay finishes that speak to place, heritage, and climate. These materials are beautifully imperfect, and their inclusion in design is a nod to sustainability and storytelling.

Paired with chrome or metallic accents, these elements create a conversation between tradition and innovation — grounding our homes in the Australian landscape while projecting a modern, considered aesthetic.

Light becomes a feature, with statement fixtures in unexpected shapes and finishes adding sculptural value and ambience.

From globe pendants in mixed metals to oversized organic forms in matte ceramic, our homes make light a central part of the design language.
