High-end architectural design with the Highland facade

Fusing a contemporary style with a double gabled silhouette, the new Highland facade introduces a modern barn aesthetic to Boutique Homes’ suite of double storey designs.

‘Our current contemporary double storey facades offer a flat parapet to the first floor, so we wanted to provide customers something different, a modern gable façade option that was just as contemporary but with a clear point of difference,’ says Boutique Homes’ Senior Designer, Rob Nguyen. ‘As well suited to rural areas as it is to inner-city suburbs, the Highland’s contrasting materials and simple proportions deliver a strong street presence.’ Face brickwork to the ground floor provides a solid base for the simple gable forms above. Customers can choose to incorporate an embossed brick pattern detail, adding texture and depth. ‘This upgrade softens the feature brick wall and provides a high-end architectural feel to the façade,’ adds Rob.
