Single storey façade – The Arcadia

Modern architecture meets the striking roof tops of traditional English and American gable homes in our Arcadia façade. Boutique Homes Senior Designer, Robert Nguyen, knew he had designed something special with the Arcadia’s distinctive presence. ‘We took the essential elements of these traditional architectural styles – namely the steep gables, brickwork with soldier courses and gridded windows – and transferred them onto our existing range of homes,’ explains Rob.   ‘It certainly hints at an era gone by but has been modernised to become its own special style.’ ‘The rest of the home is rendered in the same colour as the bricks to further frame the gables,’ he adds. Take note of the decorative chimney and stylish black gridded windows which add character to the façade. The Arcadia is suited to anyone looking for a traditional yet standout façade and works particularly well in Melbourne’s more established suburbs, along with regional centres.
